An Afternoon At Stan Hywet
The Derbytown Chorus as well as Clear Choice and The Summit Chordsmen quartets performed on Sunday, August 17th on the Great Meadow at Stan Hywet Hall. We shared the program with the Goodyear Concert Band. A nice crowd brought chairs and settled under the large oak trees for an afternoon of music.
Corn Roast
The 55th Annual Akron Chapter Corn Roast will be held on Tuesday, September 9th. As in the past, it will be held at the Tadmor Temple picnic shelter, 1000 Krebs Road, Akron, Ohio. The official starting time is 6:00pm although those arriving early can help with preparations (hint, hint). Join us for a evening of fellowship, food and song.
